It's most likely the root cause of the AC issue, or a faulty interconnect, -if you're lucky. Check all CUE-related fuses first. Jun 26, 2017 · The steering wheel controls work fine and the backup cam. The AC works but I cant change the settings from the screen. I can change the temp and set it to Auto. I did my own with the $179.00 screen. Trim tools are important as is the 7mm 1/4" drive socket and a skinny Phillips screwdriverand small needle nose pliers. After you remove it from the car, take your time and follow the video, especially when disconnecting and connecting the screen and front panel.

There is a CUE issue, at least on XTS, that kills the weather app for some reason. Have your dealer set up a technical case with XM/Sirrius, and they will get it corrected. This is a common issue with screens prior to 2018. The screen needs to be replaced. It's not too much $$. Can be found at cuescreens.com. Or if you have warranty the Dealer would replace the whole CUE unit but it would most likely fail again.

When it acts up, NONE of the icons respond across the entire CUE Screen. Here's the Possible Work-Around: Long-hold the power button until the screen effectively shuts off (and the Analog Clock is shown). Turn the power back on. Press the desired icon.

There are many problems you can face with the CUE setup so it's best to get this "recorded" in their system in case you need warranty replacement (I assume you're still under warranty).I came to the Cadillac forums to find a solution and what I found was a replacement CUE System from GM PARTS HOUSE. I talked with the Cadillac Customer Care. They ran test to find that they could not find my car in their system. He told me I need to have my GPS reset. I took it to Rancho Cadillac in Victorville, CA. They charged me $115 to do nothing because as soon as I got in my vehicle. The no GPS signal appeared. This issue makes me not want the car.
