My warranty is close to expiring, and I was reading that some of had issues with the fuel pump that may have sounded like a clicking. The clicking varies with engine RPMs.To see if its injectors get some one with a good scan tool to go along and deactivate injectors one by one. If tick stops with x injector that’s the culprit. Ticking noise when accelerating. The new to me Duramax has a ticking noise going on as soon as you step on the gas. It is present from around 1000rpms to 2700 rpms. If I´m flooring it it goes away and it goes away as soon as I let of the pedal.. I haven´t checked the injector balance rates because I´m lacking the tools.
