I was at a local CB & Ham Radio store buying a Firestik antenna and one of the guys that work there told me for $40 they can "Peak and Tune" my new Cobra cb to increase output power from the stock 4 watts to almost 12 watts of transmitting power. Seems like a good way to increase range.
