OP Maya is serious work, while OP Gaige really is fun. I generally play solo btw. Certainly story missions, progressing the character etc. I play with friends, but usually as support in their games. I don't know what class mods / weapons / relics you are using. Your skills build will depend on these.

My recommendation for your build is when you get to level 50 and get your hands on your legendary class mod you put at least 1 point in 5 skills it builds so you have 6/5 in a least 5 of your 1rst level skills out of the six available. She has a few sniper-friendly skills and it gives you a great overview of the battlefield so you can more easily prioritize either healing teammates or controlling enemies.
