So I do not see how it knows to activate the extraction pump. Trying to figure this out as it could be why the pump fails. Or, maybe the pump is just undersized and overheats. I can't imagine the pump is just always on, whether there is water to pump or not. The tank needs to be 3/4 full before the water reaches the pick up.
