Go into skills. Click on the skill you want to make Legendary. This should enlarge the skill. Hit space. You do not need to go into the notice at the top of the screen. That skill will then revert back to 15 and any perks released will appear at the top in the same space that the word Legendary was. #5.

One point in the wrong skill tree doesn't really matter in long run. To answer the question: You can reset skill trees once you've maxed them out and there's a reset option once you finish the dragonborn dlc. Honestly though, use conjuration. Summons are a great asset for melee battle.
