Hi I'm trying to go camping mid september and I'd like some advice on deciding between two campgrounds. I can't decide between Meek Bay and Fallen Leaf campground. I really like the proximity of Meek Bay to the beach area, but I've also heard alot of positive things in regards to Fallen Leafs location.

This time, we booked a campsite at Fallen Leaf Campground which is north of Fallen Leaf Lake. It was far away enough from the busy area of South Lake Tahoe that it felt serene and quiet.
