Now for the other question, you will have to contact Swampfox directly to see if they have updated/upgraded the Sentinel to make it more rugged. In order to save battery, Swampfox states "In very low light conditions Sentinel-A’s dot will become very difficult or impossible to see." I agree with their assessment, I cannot pickup the dot at all in low light settings.
